Teaching
Philosophy:
I believe that it is very
important for my students to learn cause and effect of the
ball flight. I make sure that my students understand what
influences the ball, where it goes, and how it reacts. I think
that this is the most important aspect of golf and applies
to all areas of the game including: full swing, short game,
trouble shots, and putting. Golf is about where the ball goes
and I focus my instruction on that statement and work backwards.
I will see where the ball goes, what the club is doing to
influence the ball, then how the body is influencing the club.

I like to focus a lot of attention to the short game area
(100 yards and in). This is what we call "Scoring".
To become an accomplished or improved golfer, you need to
learn how to improve in this area. The short game is the main
difference between amateur and professional golfers.
I tailor my instruction to
the players needs. I will spend time talking with you to find
out what is causing your current scores and what needs to
be done to lower those scores. Come and spend some time with
me and I will show you what I can do to help you improve.
Bio:
I have been teaching at the Foundation Golf Center since 2006.
For many years I have studied the game of golf, golf swings,
short game techniques, and putting. I have also spent a lot
of time sharing ideas with top instructors such as: Todd Sones,
Brad Turner, Patti Butcher, and Gary Robinson. It is my goal
and mission to be the best possible instructor for your benfit
and needs.
In the time i have spent at
the Foundation Golf Center, I have had the pleasure of working
with students of all skill levels and different goals. I have
students that have accomplished All Conference awards in their
High School Season, Meijer and Adams Junior Players Tour Victories,
students who have cut their handicap in half, and players
who are enjoying the game with their families. I have a passion
for the game, teaching, and watching students achieve their
goals. I will work very hard to help you acheive your goals.
